    Notes;
    Back sleeve has lyrics on it, insert also has lyrics & "The Story Of The Song" explanation
    Back sleeve lists album & edit versions but the labels list the edit version on both sides, inserts are pretty rare

    Notes;
    One copy known, located in England, owned by Hector, comes in a regular sleeve
    Side a label has; "Metallica "One" (Hetfield/Ulrich) 7`24" typed on it, side b label is blue
    Matrix detail includes the word `Damont`, this is not included on the commercial copies

    Notes;
    Sticker; "This Single Comes With A Free Unfolded Poster, Ask At The Counter"
    Quite rare to find complete with the poster, most large stores didn`t bother with the posters
    Click the above link to see the original packaging for the free posters!

  14. Phonogram/Vertigo France 1989, with silver vertigo labels (874 066-7)

  15. CBS/Sony Japan 1989, orange label promo with custom insert sleeve (XDSP 93114)
    Notes;
    Well known `rare` record, allegedly only 60 copies pressed although i believe 500 copies is a more likely amount judging my the sheer amount available on ebay and in collectors hands
    The a-side has "One" (Short Version), the b-side has "Breadfan", side a label misspells `..And JusticAe For All`, some copies have Japanese Radio stickers on them
  16. Yusen Japan 1989, white label promo with insert cover, split promo (YPS 063)
    Notes;
    The a-side has "One" (Short Version) listed but actually plays the full version
    The b-side has "More Than You Know" by the band "Martika"
    Insert is very plain and has most details in japanese, back of insert has "More Than You Know" lyrics
    Not as sought after as the 1st Japan promo 7" but probably more limited
    `Yusen` was/is a cable radio station in Japan that made these singles for in-house use with the permission of the record label in Japan

  19. Elektra USA 1993, "Spun Gold" re-issue with plain sleeve (65920-7)
    Notes;
    This single is often incorrectly listed/sold as a promo, it as also usually dated as being from 1988 or 1989
    This record has the album version of "Eye Of The Beholder" on the b-side

"ONE", promo 12";

  1. Elektra USA 1988, edit & album versions with Elektra sleeve, `SP` matrix (ED 5349)
  2. Elektra USA 1988, edit & album versions with Elektra sleeve, `AR` matrix (ED 5349)
    Notes;
    1st pressings have ST-ED-5349-A-SP on the label
    2nd pressings have ST-ED-5349-A-AR, there is little or no difference in value

  3. Vertigo England 1989, album version with unique sleeve & `Story Of The Song` insert (METDJ 512)
    Notes;
    The insert was supposed to come with the promo 7" single, at least some of the promo 12"`s have them

    This light blue label copy located in Germany, owned by Andreas
    For some reason a LOT of the One 12"`s come with two labels / offset labels on one side, far more than any other record, i`ve collated all the copies here

    The gatefold singles have black Vertigo labels & have a four page interview with Metallica`s roadies
    Sticker on most gatefolds; "Metallica One, Collectors Edition Gatefold Sleeve"
    Some copies are stickered and some not, they probably ran out of stickers
