- Music For Nations France 1984, first label, blue vinyl (12KUT 112)
Notes;
Records #2 - #9 all bear the original label; brown with a bold `METALLICA` logo and says; "Made In France"
The red vinyls have two distinct variations, `dark red` copies are much clearer then the normal red copies
There are probably only a few copies of #6 as i suspect they were somewhat of a misprint which occurred during the change of color from the green vinyl copies (#5) and the clear vinyl copies (#7), certainly the transparent green vinyl copies are much harder to find than the solid green versions
There may be some "transparent white" vinyl copies that were pressed during the change from clear to white
The blue vinyl copies are also quite rare, however they are not as expensive as the other french colored vinyls as blue was later released in england but in a much larger print run
The english blue vinyl was limited to 5,000 - 10,000 copies, the french blue was maybe 500
One copy of the french blue vinyl has a `cracked` b-side label, located in Germany, owned by Jochen
Many of these singles come in covers that say "Made In England" on the back cover
Due to this they are often listed as being english, the french covers have no country listed on the cover
NEW INFO;
Some company in germany has just make counterfeits of these (July/2007), the new copies are available on white, red, green, blue & yellow vinyl - these mostly appear to have some `swirls` in them and sell for $20-$30 or 20-25Euros, the labels are darker and have a more prominent `dished` effect

One copy of the black vinyl double b-side misslabel exists, i forget who has it though
(Nearly) all English blue vinyls are marbled, hold them up to a strong light to see what i mean
The French blue vinyl is not marbled, it is one perfect shade of blue
