Metallica Bootleg Box Sets;

Howdy,
On this page due to popular demand & lots of questions I have put together the best list I can of all the `fake` box sets available

these box sets are best described as after market releases, this means they are normal cd releases which have been re-packed in packaging to make them more appealing

The box sets listed below all have one thing in common;
they are official cd`s packed un un-official packaging

i have nine of the nineteen box sets listed here, i`m not much of a collector of these sets so please don`t offer me them unless thay are cheap :)

MASTER OF PUPPETS;

NOTES;
this tin also includes a bootleg t-shirt 2 postcards and a badge, the cd is the normal c.s.f.r. edition, the box is numbered out of 1000 copies

NOTES;
this tin also includes a bootleg justice t-shirt and a postcard, the cd is the numbered gold c.s.f.r. edition, box is numbered out of 300 copies

"elektra" "usa" 93?, bootleg metallican with usa cd, usa t-shirt, bandana & rubber snake (9 61113-2)
NOTES;
the cd & the t-shirt are official items, the can, snake & bandana are all bootlegs
collectors edition entitled; "don`t tread on me", also available with a japanese "metallica" cd

METALLICA (the black album);

"elektra" "usa" 93?, bootleg metallican with usa cd, usa t-shirt, bandana & rubber snake (9 61113-2)
NOTES;
this can has the same contents as the above can but has a sticker similar to the proper black album cover on the front, this version is more unusual then the first version shown above

"cbs/sony" "japan" mid `90`s, official japan cd in un-official cast iron `cross-bones` skull, numbered/2500 (no cat#)
NOTES;
some copies have usa cd`s inside, some copies have japanese cd`s inside, i have no idea where this comes from, my skull is numbered 174/2500

METALLICA (the black album);

"cbs/sony" "japan" mid `90`s, official japan cd in un-official cast iron skull, numbered (no cat#)
NOTES;
available with a gold or a black/silver finish, mine os gold and is numbered `009`

no label unknown country 96?, bootleg 10" square black box known as `skull & coffin` set (no cat#)
NOTES;
very tacky bootleg box set, contains 2 official cd`s;
japanese `one` silver cd from 1989
german one (re-issue) three track cd from 1994
also has; coin, lighter, flag, black coffin w/ skull mounted on it, all this comes housed in the black cardboard box

GARAGE INC, a.k.a. `garage days`;
